Endeavour Lodge opened in 1999 to provide visitors to Norfolk Island with self catering apartments, all with ocean views. Today we have 6 One Bedroom luxury apartments, a Two Bedroom luxury cottage and a Three Bedroom House.
The accommodation at Endeavour Lodge are all 4 star and Green star rated by AAA Tourism. We provide a deluxe guest experience, a superior style and comfort, with a wide range of facilities. This is complimented by the peace, privacy and the unspoiled beauty of the natural environment surrounding the apartments.
Endeavour Lodge is owned and operated by Duncan & Gaewyn Evans Duncan Evans is a Norfolk Islander and is a 7th Generation descendant from Fletcher Christian, the leader of the Mutiny on the Bounty. Gaewyn Evans is a descendant of the Reverend Henry Fulton, an Irish Political Prisoner. Rev Fulton was a Presbyterian Chaplain on the Island during the First Convict Settlement from 1801 to 1806, with 2 children born on the Island during this time.
The land on which Endeavour Lodge is situated was originally granted to Isaac Godfrey Christian. Isaac was born on Pitcairn Island and was a 4th Generation descendant from Fletcher Christian. The land passed through various hands until purchased by Duncan & Gaewyn in 1998.
Endeavour Lodge has also been awarded a Environmentally Friendly Green Star for our commitment to a sustainable environmental policy. To minimise our environmental impact, we are committed to achieving energy efficiency, waste minimisation and water management.
